O Grove is the perfect destination to escape the heat of the city and spend a few idyllic days of disconnection surrounded by natural beauty and excellent gastronomy.

A few days ago we escaped to Galicia, running away from the heat of the city, specifically to O Grove, a municipality and peninsula in the province of Pontevedra. We really wanted to know this area of the Rías Baixas, right at the entrance of the Ría de Arousa. Its access, through an isthmus 2km long and almost 1km wide in the longest part.

In a few kilometers of the peninsula there are unforgettable locations, paradisiacal beaches and natural enclaves. It is a trip to connect with the fishing culture while enjoying the charm of being a summer destination that is not so crowded, at least compared to other destinations in Spain. Where the perfect balance between sea and vegetation is found, offering idyllic days of disconnection surrounded by natural beauty and very good gastronomy.

This guide reveals important locations such as Cambados, the island of La Toja, which is accessed from O Grove.
